Un match inégal avec une première mi-temps fermée et soporifique et une seconde animée et dynamique. Les Espagnols se sont montrés les plus dangereux (barre) et monsieur Palotaï aurait pu sortir quelques cartons supplémentaires surtout pour les Italiens. D'un point de vue technique, les gardiens de but ont beaucoup utilisé les sorties au poing. Ce match nul avait l'air de satisfaire l'Italie et l'Espagne...
